Spent the day doing odd jobs around mom's house and visiting farms. Had a quick supper with Sandra, Eric and Linda then picked up Owen and rushed to Regina to take in some live jazz.
Owen explains the inner workings of the high-tech mower that crushes the stems for better drying (if it ever stops raining long enough).
Gord liked this big shiney wrench and insisted we take a picture that makes it look like he knows what he is doing with it.
Oliver Jones (left) is a jazz pianist who puts on a real good show. I bought a set of his bass player Dave Young's (right) CD's which feature Dave playing duets with numerous jazz pianists including Oliver and Oscar Peterson. ![]() The Robin Nolan Trio was the warm up group. They are George Harrison's favourite jazz band, playing for several of his private parties. Great easy listening jazz and interesting guys too. ![]() |
